Love comes in many forms in our society, and Prem Lila is a story drawn from those very emotions. Directed with finesse by the talented Naznin Hasan Khan and written by Rajib Moni Das, this drama explores the complexities and contradictions of love.

The cast of Prem Lila includes Shibly Nouman, Sumaiya Arpa, Masud Moheuddin, Saika Ahmed, Farid Hossain, Subrota Chowdhury, among others.

The story of Prem Lila also Joynal is a well-known industrialist who lives with his son and daughter. During his university years, Samir—Joynal’s son—was quietly admired by a girl named Nidhi. However, Samir never noticed her. He always believed he would marry someone chosen by his mother.

One day, Nidhi unexpectedly visits Samir’s home. Joynal seems quite interested in her, though it’s unclear whether he sees her as a potential daughter-in-law or something else. Meanwhile, Samir’s mother, Rakhi, has already selected another bride for him.
Curious about Nidhi, Joynal cleverly obtains her phone number and begins speaking to her—mimicking Samir’s voice. Nidhi, unable to detect the difference, is drawn in by the sweet words, and her old feelings begin to resurface.

Later, during a Facebook chat, Nidhi invites “Samir” to her house for her birthday. When the doorbell rings, she rushes to open it—only to find Joynal at the door. Before she can process what’s happening, Samir arrives with another girl named Shrestha.
