The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that they launched successive attacks in Iran during the night. Over 60 Israeli fighter jets were used to strike several locations in Tehran, according to BBC reports.
The IDF claimed that approximately 120 missiles were fired during the assault, targeting a military missile production facility and a nuclear research center. The Israeli military asserted that the installations linked to Iran’s nuclear weapons program were the primary targets of the attack.
Iran, however, has not commented on the incident.
In a separate incident, Iran carried out a missile strike on the southern Israeli city of Beersheba. Reports indicate that a Microsoft office building was engulfed in flames, and several residential buildings sustained damage. Images from the scene showed fire brigade members conducting rescue operations. It was reported that five individuals were injured and later taken to the hospital. It is believed that Iran has once again initiated a missile attack, this time targeting the Gav-Yam Advanced Technology Park.
Local media, citing the BBC, reported that a missile struck near the Microsoft building and that a car was also set ablaze.
