This Eid-ul-Azha, celebrated actress Jaya Ahsan graced the silver screen in Bangladesh with two films “Taandob ” directed by Raihan Rafi, and “Utshob” by Tanim Noor. Both films received a strong response from audiences, drawing crowds to cinema halls and showcasing the actress in two entirely different moods and characters.
Hardly had the festive buzz of Eid faded when Jaya traveled to India to begin work on her next venture. Shooting for her new film, “Ajo Ardhangini”, directed by renowned filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly, began last Saturday in Kolkata with a formal muhurat ceremony. Jaya has already joined the production.
Speaking about the new project, Jaya said, Working with Kaushik-da is always an enjoyable experience. I believe this time will be no different. Every project teaches me something new and helps me grow as an actress. I’m thrilled to be working again with Churni Ganguly. Having an actor of her calibre as a co-star always elevates my performance. I look forward to completing this film with a fulfilling experience.
According to sources, “Ajo Ardhangini” is scheduled for release later this year. Jaya remains optimistic and enthusiastic about the project and its reception among audiences.
