Malaika Chowdhury, the younger sister of renowned actress Mehazabien Chowdhury, is making her mark in the television industry. After her successful debut in the dramas ‘Shonddhikkhon’ and ‘Khotipuron’, where she garnered attention for her natural acting, Malaika is now pairing up with Partho Sheikh in her third project titled ‘Onutopto’.
Known for her graceful presence and relatable performances, Malaika has quickly become a rising star, and her collaboration with Partho Sheikh is being eagerly anticipated by fans. In this family-oriented drama, Malaika and Partho’s on-screen chemistry is expected to captivate viewers, adding another memorable chapter to her career.
Her earlier two projects, ‘Shonddhikkhon’ and ‘Khotipuron’, were directed by renowned filmmaker Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. The upcoming drama ‘Onutopto’ has been written and directed by KM Shohag Rana, under the production banner of Raz himself.
Speaking about the new drama, Shohag Rana said, ’It’s a story rooted in family values, focusing on a father’s responsibilities toward his son. Alongside that, there’s a youthful love story that audiences will easily relate to.’
The drama features seasoned actors Intekhab Dinar and Deepa Khandakar in the roles of the parents, while other cast members include Shiba Shanu and Tanzim Hasan Anik. The shooting took place over the past few days at various locations in Dhaka, with cinematography by Raju Raj.
‘Onutopto’ is set to be released soon on the YouTube channel Cinemawalla.
